I haven’t been able to bring myself to watch the RNC, my stomach is weak and I can’t handle all the bullshit and hypocrisy. The people in this party are unbelievable and talk out of both sides of their neck! don’t believe me? View the video.
Vodpod videos no longer available.
Hat tip to the folks at O’ Hell Nawl for posting the video first.
Also, I received an email today from someone passing along info from one of Palin’s alleged constituents in Alaska. Always the skeptic and not believing everything I read, I Googled the person named. In short, it is supposedly a letter from an educator in Alaska coming out against Palin.
Google returned a link to this blog, theWOWatch (Women in the News. Women on the News). Whoopi Goldberg is a contributor and has posted an poignant piece regarding her thoughts on Sarah Palin. Read it HERE!
Also, another fellow blogger has pointed out some innacuracies in both “Palin’s speech and McCain’s rhetoric”. Check it out at The Mo’Kelly Report.
Do you think the Republicans are hypocritical when it comes to the media treatment/scrutiny of Palin? What about their [Republicans] stance to back off the topic of her unwed teenage daughter? How does that fit into the party of “family values”? Would their reaction be the same of a Democrat’s family had it been the same circumstances?
What are your thoughts?
I hate to say it, but, I’m strictly a party-line voter these days, have been since way back when. I can’t bring myself to even acknowledge anything that takes place with the Republicans. They have nothing to offer me and mine, therefore, they are simply “non-entities” for me. As expected, there were very few faces of color in the convention seats. A lot of folks seem surprised. Why? Beats me. It will probably be a long time before Republicans turn things around and become the party for people of color again. They actually were long ago and the Dems were our “enemy”. Until such time, I pass. Peace.
So McCan’t said in one breath that I can’t do what I want with my body; then said government had no business telling me what to do. And the Spin goes on, and the Spin goes on. Not once did they relate to issues because they think everything is okay. I see the heads in the stands. All of us who are volunteering in the community I guess should stop- resign from the Red Cross, no longer volunteer for church sponsored events, stay away from schools, hospitals, foundations. No more big brothers and sisters, no more mentors. I hope people will really start listening to what is being said. The future of this country depends on CHANGE. And the CHANGE we need is Obama.
Far as I’m concerned, the Republican party is talkin out it’s asshole. And if it looks like shit and sounds like shit…guess what it probably is?
It goes without saying, again, that I agree with all of you. 🙂
Oh, and Jon Stewart is HILARIOUS!!!
