Here it is, January 1st around 2:15 a.m. and I’m sitting in the bed, blogging, watching an “Entourage” marathon on HBO, while drinking my hot eggnogg spiked with Jack Daniels. Multi-tasking at its best. I’ve already been to church and to mom’s house to bring in the New Year with her praying over the family. Quiet and low key.
I’ve never been one to make resolutions. I don’t know, it just seems too much of a cliche’. There are some things I will continue to do, or do more of, and there are things which I plan to do less or not at all.
Here is my More or Less “stuff” for 2008:
Exercise more– the spiked eggnogg is a very good reason for this to be at the top of the list. In fact, I will be at the gym later this morning, uh, today.
Spend more time with my nephews– Skylar is 2 yrs old and Jalen is 2 months. I’ve gotta remember to take my vitamins or keep a can of Red Bull on hand.
Spend less time on B.S.– for example, the 4 ½ years of “on-again, off-again” debacle with M². Deliverance is a blessing! Too bad God doesn’t have a 30 minute delivery guarantee like some pizza places. Keyshia Cole is my girl these days with these lyrics:

Read more books and write in my journal more– I’m well on my way with part of this. I finished Ken Follett’s, “Pillars of the Earth” and will be at Barnes and Noble to buy his “World Without End“. Since I’ve been blogging I haven’t been writing in my journal. I’ve got to change that. For real.
Lust after and Fantasize more about the O.C.– he is a nice piece of eye candy. Sexy. Smart. Fine as Hizell. Mmm, Mmm Good! Campbell’s Soup ain’t got nothing on this brotha.
Pray more – after visiting O’ Hell Nawl and becoming addicted to the hilarious, irreverent foolishness…I need more Jesus now than I ever did before! Lawd Jeezus help me!! 🙂 “At the cross, at the cross…where I first saw the light…”

Awesome list! I am sure you will “Make It Happen”! I don’t listen to much of today’s music but I do like Keyshia Cole, and You know she nailed that song!! She makes me almost want to go out and find a man just so that I can kick him to the curb!! HHHAAA!
And yes some of these blogs do make me want to read the word more!! I am starting the read the bible in one year program so that should help!
