We love themes for O.S.F. and this week’s theme is “another sad love song“.
I love this artist but I can only listen for so long because it makes me…uhm, you guessed it…SAD!

This woman’s voice is like silk Great choice. You and Villager are on the same page this OSF.
Helen!? Dang, this is the second thing in two days that I had no clue about (see my Chaka Khan post). I need to get up on my music info. Anyway, Sade is a wonderful choice. I love the vibe to her songs & she always has great music. My fav is Nothing Can Come Between Us.
Ooh, I love Sade…Is It A Crime just does things to me…
Great picks!
That is a great choice, I don’t know why I didn’t think of Sade, but you are so right. You have to definitely be in the mood to listen to Sade.
Great picks! Sade’ is the ultimate “Smooth Sad Diva”!! She is a popular pick for today’s theme! I think my favorite Sade song would have to be “Love Is Stronger Than Pride”, Don’t know why I didn’t think of it sooner!
Have a great weekend!
“Is It A Crime” is a crazy song…it’ll make you run through some Kleenex with ease, but I still like the song and the other song is just a banger; I have always like the beat.
yh, its a crime, is a winner…classic
fantastic choice..
have a nice weekend
is it a crime*
aww…sooky, sooky now. Sade is the bomb. I can listen to her just about anytime. I didn’t know Sade wasn’t her real name. Thanks for the good music and the information.
HAPPY OSF! Especially loving the first song-
Also her band, sweetback released a wonderful debut album in 1996, maybe you heard of it? It featured Amel Larrieux and maxwell (they did some work on his debut album too!)
