I have been out of pocket for a few days, running back and forth to the hospital to check on my mom. Her asthma had us at the hospital emergency room on Thursday night and after 3 ineffective breathing treatments, the doctor decided to admit her.
She is doing much better now…no wheezing but still experiencing fits of coughing if she laughs or over exerts herself so she is still hospitalized. Although she wants to be “well” when she leaves she was none to pleased with spending her 67th birthday (Sunday) holed up in a hospital bed nor with the possibility of missing the opportunity to vote in the Super Tuesday Primaries. We might have to bust her out of there sometime tomorrow….for real! 🙂
I will not be in a ‘right’ state of mind to post regularly until mom is out. If she ain’t ‘right’, neither am I. I hope to be back to my normal rantings by Thursday.

God speed to you & your mom. I pray that she is back up and running post haste! If you want I can put a file in a cake and bring it by so we can bust her out. I know she is not trying to miss Super Tuesday, it is going down in history!

Choc Mom will be back home soon. Be patient, let the docs do their thing, and make sure she’s good to go when coming home. No relapses allowed.

Awww, she didn’t make it to Super Tuesday, but that the least of our concerns. I’m glad to see she is making a full recovery. I hope she has an awesome belated birthday.
