I can’t wait for this to come out. Just the type of black movies we need to support. I’ll be there opening night as well!
I don’t know about anywhere else, but this movie only opened on one screen in Lake Charles, LA. No, not just one screen at a certain theater, but one screen in the ENTIRE CITY. It took the backseat to more importmant movies like “Alvin and the Chipmunks”, I guess (sarcasm intended). From the fact that it was #12 on the opening weekend ranks makes me think that it was done like that in alot of other places. The story didn’t make it to the history books, as we all know. Well, for much of the same reason, the movie’s success is being muffled in the box office, I think.
